Born in Santiago, Matatlan, Oaxaca, Montelobos is a handcrafted mezcal made with 100% organic agave Espadin. Mezcal is made by Iván Saldaña, one of the world's most famous tequila winemakers. Through the fermentation of agave, the complexity of the wine body is improved, and it appears more layered.
