Mortlach 16 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is inspired by the iconic first bottle of the 16 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky released in 1992. This Mortlach has only been matured in sherry casks for 16 years. The rich sweetness complements the famous spirits of the winery. The ripeness in the sherry casks gives it rich, fruity and fragrant aromas.
Mortlach 16 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky exudes pleasant orange peel, honey, walnut and light cigar smoke. The 16-year-old Mortlach has a rich, rich and spicy taste, with cloves, nutmeg and dark berries in the middle, with a surprisingly sweet and dry aftertaste.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Amber
Nose: Gingerbread and orange zest with hints of roasted chestnut, apple, blackcurrant pie and papaya.
Taste: From the beginning, it has a mature oak flavor, with plums, cloves, macadamia nuts and a slight toasted earth flavor.
