Cambridge Distillery - Curator's Gin - 700ml
ABV: 40%
Country of Origin: England, U.K.
Cambridge Distillery crafted Curator’s Gin with a little help from the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. Accompanied by the Garden’s Curator, Sam Brockington, the Cambridge Distillery team hand-picked the botanicals for the spirit, including lavender, 'green ginger' rosemary, lemon balm, and even apples from a tree said to be descended from Isaac Newton's! Then the botanicals were literally cycled back to the distillery after minutes of harvesting, and individually distilled using the distillery's novo-dimensional distillation matrix. Which sounds very sciencey indeed. Curator’s Gin was released as part of the distillery's Prototype series, with a limited 600 bottles produced at 40% ABV. Garnish this one in a G&T with a sprig of rosemary.
TASTING NOTES:
Delicate and floral, with distinctive lavender, aromatic citrus and fruity sweetness, rounded off by herbaceous and slightly savoury rosemary.
